Happy 4th of July, which is also called as ‘Independence Day,’ marks the celebration of the Declaration of Independence as well as a federal holiday in the United States of America.
The celebration of this day is marked generally with festivities, parades, barbeques, fireworks, picnics and baseball games as well.
Many people often mark the celebration of the occasion with private and public events celebrating the history, government as well as the traditions of the United States. The 4th of July celebrations each year is often marked with the newly turned politicians giving a speech at such events to let the people of their country know about their heritage and support. It was back in the year 1775, people who resided in New England started fighting with the British to attain their independence. The Native Americans resided in the country before the European settlers reached. Later, on July 2, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favour of getting independence from the rule of Great Britain. On July 4, the Congress signed and approved the Declaration of Independence after which the document was published finally.
