My name is Ray Davis. I'm a writer, poet, and thinker living in the American midwest. By day, I write B2B sales training at a Fortune 100 company.

By night, I write a blog called The Affirmation Spot ( theaffirmationspot.wordpress.com ) that focuses on an intelligently optimistic approach to life.

I am also the founder and owner of The Affirmation Spot.com ( www.theaffirmationspot.com ) a website offering downloadable mp3 format affirmations, prayers, meditations, and visualizations. The site just kicked off in September 2007 and the library of available items continues to grow. I do all the writing and recording of the affirmations as well as maintenance of the website.

The goal of The Affirmation Spot is to broaden the use of affirmations beyond areas of life where they are traditionally used and to provide a greener alternative to the production of affirmations and positive thinking materials on CDs.

My wife and I live in Kansas currently, but are working on a plan to relocate to Hawaii in the next five years.
