I've been fairly nomadic geographically and occupationally. The world is incredibly rich in experiences and opportunities and I've been tasting it's fruits, diving in deep. In 31 years I've been a recreation leader, assistant teacher, caregiver, massage therapist, cook, earthen home builder, Fair Trade organizer, writer and gardener. I've enjoyed all of these jobs. Now I'm doing resources development with a couple of wonderful NGO's in Israel.
The revolution as I see it in any lasting meaningful way is actually an evolution, and it is DELICIOUS! The earth and human creativity provide such a beautiful and simple life, I can't understand why war is so commonplace. When you can dance, make love, art, music, theatre and eat lasagna, fritatas or som tum, who's got time to struggle and fight? That's how I'm living, but I also know that the world is a complicated creature, which is why I've adopted an attitude of 'ha kol le tovah - all is for good' Whether it is pleasant or painful, we have drawn it into our experience so that we can respond in a good way and become more whole. It's for good.
'Let the beauty you love be what you do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel down and kiss the ground.'
