I am a single mum, teacher of French and love to travel. If I can't travel as much as I'd like, I do like to keep up to date on what's happening around the world - after all we're all interconnected in this place we call home! Joy should be a daily event and as long as we're mindful it's much more likely to be noticed. As a mum of four teenaged and growing up boys, joy is often found in unexpected moments and activities. I've lived and worked and studied in many different places around the world, and feel very fortunate to have learned and experienced so much. I live quite rurally in a small beautiful town near the water - which seems to be very important to me. As I'm fairly new to the area, I am still looking to become part of a community and Ode makes me feel very much a part of what's happening in a positive, interesting way - so I imagine other Ode readers would be like minded to a certain degree.
