Hello or yasoo - in Greek the same word for hello and good health to you is Yeia sou. I am a visual artist originally from NC in the US who has been living on a Greek island for the past 18 years. I've become intent upon leaving the smallest carbon footprint I can by living as naturally as possible, walking, riding a bike, and following a mostly vegan diet. It is, I grant you, easier to live simply on an island! For the past 10 years I also have been a facilitator for edu-tourism involving US and Canadian University Alumni visiting Greece. I have yet to meet even One educated American, of the hundreds on these trips over the past few years since I've subscribed to Ode, who has heard of Ode Magazine.
