Clearly an optimist, I find the best in people. I never focus on a person's negative attributes or experiences. On the contrary, I can take what's perceived to be a negative experience and make the person see the positive side of it. It's a powerful tool in business and in life. It works and I've shown co-workers how their negative experience was really good for them as it provided growth and the knowledge to know better when faced with that same situation.
