I'm a former Chicago radio reporter and now work as the communications director for a non profit family foundation.Visiting elders, advocating for the rights of people with disabilities, and promoting understanding between people of different cultures and faiths, are some of the issues that really excite me.

When I visit my friend with Alzheimer’s Disease in the nursing home and we connect for just a minute or two, I am exhilarated. When I mentor young people with and without disabilities for an annual reader’s theater workshop, I am amazed by their talent and insight. When I visit patients at my local hospital as a minister of care, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve. When I study the faith of another and discover a common Divine experience, I am humbled.
