Born and bred in NYC, thanks (for want of a better word) to 9/11 I am still here. That day severely turned my life around.
Since 1980, I have been mostly organic when I had a choice. Now it is easier and many a farmer is a dear friend. http://www.norwichmeadowsfarm.com/
My dream is far greener and quite quiet. Yes, I did say dream...
Married twice-to an artist, first and then a writer who showed me I could write-oh boy! Yes, I still love them both but from a safe distance. Being single is wonderful in its way.
I think of myself as a pessimistic, ever hopeful person. I see the humor in things. Life is hard enough without being dour. Silly I think is good for the soul.
My life's work has always been to help people.
Right now, I am semi-retired from my home visit animal care/nursing business. When I started to seriously burn out, I stopped rescuing animals. It was extremely hard to do but I didn't want to go crazy and I was pointed in that direction. I still lend a hand on occasion, when needed. I've been a bookkeeper, a professional cook & wedding cake maker, a semi-professional dancer, a writer and poet(okay, I still do that-lol) of pointless prose, a seamstress, the list goes on and on.
I am not an idle person. My new goal is starting a fiber craft business. http://www.etsy.com/profile.php?user_id=5498284
My thought is:
Let your mind wander...
then follow it.
