I am interested in equal opportunities, diversity and a proper balance between mind, body and soul in daily life at the home, social and job front.
I wish to share the insights and challenges that my five years of training as a Gestalt therapist have brought along, in combination with my decades of experience as a simultaneous interpreter in EU institutions and my voluntary involvement in LGBT association activities and cultural work. One of my hobbies is writing poetry.
I speak Dutch, English, German, French, Danish and Swedish.

With Barack Obama's election to the highest office, many of us sigh with relief since the course for change and equality is open.
Only days after this landslide decision by the American people, the same electorate decided against allowing the huge LGBT minority to enjoy the same rights and means for fruition and fulfillment that the straight majority has been able to opt for for centuries: marriage and the legal framework to raise children in a loving, secure and protected environment.
