I am interested in equal opportunities, diversity and a proper balance between mind, body and soul in daily life at the home, social and job front. I wish to share the insights and challenges that my five years of training as a Gestalt therapist have brought along, in combination with my decades of experience as a simultaneous interpreter in EU institutions and my voluntary involvement in LGBT association activities and cultural work. One of my hobbies is writing poetry. I speak Dutch, English, German, French, Danish and Swedish.
MY MESSAGES:

The poem below has been 'edited' by the posting system, and does not have its original form. For the original version, please see the Merhaba website (www.merhabablog.blogspot.com).

For those who read Dutch, I'd like to share one of my poems, which just won a prize and will be distributed by Merhaba on 5000 free postcards in Flanders and Brussels (poem and interview on merhabablog.blogspot.com, press release on site.kifkif.be/kifkif/nieuws.php?nws_id=1737&open_menu_id=18 ).

Dear Mushtaq,

Thank you very much for your welcoming note - I only joined the Ode web community yesterday, having been a print-subscriber for ten years now. Your search to fine-tune the different flows from within and around us intrigues me. I believe that everything and all is linked and that my inner explorations can resound with the 'outer' world. When we learn to allow and embrace the less obvious or not-so-convenient aspects within ourselves, we will have no need to distance ourselves from what surrounds us. And as we learn to unfold our talents and to express messages stemming from our inner source, they may serve to improve the balance and enrich the diversity of our society. I will gladly join SOAP. Warm regards, Marion (aka joncoyo)
