1. Check out Globalonenessproject.org. For the last four years the project has been traveling the world with a small camera crew filming courageous and creative people making a difference. The link below features a former nun doing incredible work in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I was born in Quito Ecuador.

I found this in Ode magazine. If you have never read it do so. It is a proactive act of positive support for featuring the good being done in the world.
2. Check out the book, Out of Poverty, by Paul Polak. The central theme of this book is that you can come up with obvious practical solutions to just about any complicated social program following twelve steps he uses to arrive at the solutions to extreme poverty. The book teaches us to 'think ismple'.
3. Another book to check out is Blessed Unrest, by Paul Hawken. "Blessed Unrest is the story of what is going right in this world, an account of how people use imagination, conviction, and resilience to perform daily miracles of redefining our relationship tp our environment and one another." It also features a taxonomic guide to vast project areas that are being pursued by the environmental and social justice systems. Many of you may be familiar with Hawken's classic, The Ecology of Commerce.
