My passion is maternal child health from a planning/policy/funding change agenct perspective. I worked as the Director of the Healthy Start Coalition in Martin County for 12.5 years and now do the same with the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County with an expanded role. Our goal is to increase the number of healthy births, reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect and to help ensure the healthy growth and development of all children 0-8. Access to prenatal care and health care, pre/interconception health, as well as family supports which increase skills in parenting and economic stability. Currently we have programs in Healthy Start, Healthy Families, federal Healthy Start and the Nurse Family Partnership.

I've lived in Ohio, Alaska, Mexico, California and Florida. We are working on becoming more green and aware...driving hybrids, gardening, composting, line drying etc. but have much more to learn.
