Born and raised in Northern California, I am now raising three children in rural New Jersey in a house that predates Jane Austen's birth. My background is primarily in magazine editing, starting with Entrepreneur and then several years as EIC for two shelter/restoration/decorating pubs. I am completely fascinated with the new direction publishing and marketing are going in and my new business is attempting to bring old-media clients into this realm. My other hat is as a book packager with a partner in Southern California http://redlips4courage.com. I am very concerned about good stewardship for our planet and am looking for ways to contribute. I'm dong small things and wish to do bigger things. I'm hoping this community will provide inspiration, initiative, and brilliant ideas; and that I provide all of these things in return.
