My vocation is being with persons and organizations on their journeys through life's stages & transitions from pre-womb to post-tomb, from organizational creation through transformation or dissolution. Death, natural dying & death, the transition from this world into the eternal is more of a mystery than life & creation. MY MESSAGES:

As the chaplain at a long-term resident and rehabilitation facility, a major part of my ministry of presence is listening and my helping others to become more comfortable with listening. Sometimes in the listening is the discovery of the calling to take action, to stand for justice, to reach out in compassion. Othertimes... As I accompany those who are preparing to leave this earth and their family members and staff friends, a challenge is helping all (including me) to be comfortable with being with one another, to move beyond the busy-ness of doing, to enter into the vulnerability of being present together in the Mystery of the Present, touching the Mystery of Beyond the Present. How sad the pollution of I-Podic & Televised & Internetted sound waves crashing through the ears & heart closing out the possibilities of....
