I'm currently retired from a 43 year carreer in health care and prevention which was one of the great loves of my life. I'm a tree hugger from the 1960's and an old hippie. I prefer most animals to most people I've met in my life with the exception of my wonderful Andrew and a group of women friends who mean the world to me. I have been an Ode subscriber for the past 4-5 year as I thrive on good news and new ideas on how to be in productive stewardship of this planet that is my mother. I have a tee shirt that I often wear that says, "I pledge allegiance to the earth, one planet, many Gods, and to the universe in which she spins...."
