I am a mid-income American, retired from a school for handicapped children where I worked for 27 yrs. I have 4 children & 4 grandchildren, and have been married for 46 yrs. to a man who has taught Social Studies for over 20 yrs. and before that, pastored a couple of small churches. We were very fundamentalist Christians for over 20 yrs. but since then have opened our minds & hearts to many new spiritual perspectives. I am very concerned with ecology and the world's economic plights. I believe in peace, not war, and believe the day is approaching when we, as a race, will find peaceful & restorative solutions to the problems of integration, starvation, and disease. I hope to help in the small ways I can to bring that about.

I am very thankful for all Ode is doing to change the world in so many positive ways! I look forward to all the good news it brings to my household when it arrives in a time when we hear so little of all the good so many people are doing in our world! I believe our world is slowly changing, opening up to positive changes in all walks of life and am thankful to be alive in such a time! Each day I send forth the energy of peace and love and healing and do believe that even though that is a small thing, it does make a difference! I pray more and more people are inspired to move forward in journeys that bring hope to our world!
