It is a beautiful day here in Maine, 81 degrees and a great day to be in nature. My dity is on the Atlantic Ocean, and recently judged by FORBES magazine as one of the best places to live in the USA. I agree.

Our city is definately now in the 21st century, with a healthy mix of peoples from around the world-- traditional New Englanders with ancestors from England France, and other European nations today adding refugees from many places from Bosnia, the mid east, North Africa and Asia and Latin America. I am hispanic and have many friends here in Portland.

I was born in Brooklyn NYC of a hispanic father and mon from New England. I came to Maine to raise a family, which I have. Today as an elder, I enjoy the benefits of my age and good health--having taken care of myself--blessed with good genes and a drive to keep healthy with exercise and a balance in life. I swim daily and own no car but bike ride whenever the weather isn't too extreme.

If you are in my area, I would welcome you to my city and perhaps meet up for coffee, tea or whatever is your pleasure. Love and peace to you.
