I am the fifth child of a pastor and a pastor's daughter. I've been an idealistic environmentalist all my life, but worked in industry and small business until I went back to finish my degree. Then I worked as a technical specialist for Environmental Studies at Alfred University, and taught Environmental Science at Alfred State College until my father became ill and died.
