I love finding beauty in everyday life where most people would only see ugliness. It's a mad, crazy, tragic, joyous journey we're on, and I try to live it as fully as possible. I am an artist, a writer, an intellectual, and a generally open-minded person, and I want to connect with people who are the same. I have many sides to me, and I love meeting open-minded people with whom I can share them all. I love having long, rambling conversations over a good cup of coffee, exploring the neighborhoods of Chicago on foot or by car, or getting away to the mountains of Colorado on a camping trip. I love the arts- I think creating is one of the most cathartic and spiritual things that we as human beings can do. It's very close to the meaning of life. I enjoy discussions on politics, religion, art, music, literature, or just life in general I am a vegetarian and care very much about animal welfare and the environment, but I would never preach or proselytize. I was raised Roman Catholic, but nowadays I base my spirituality mostly on Buddhism, Zen, and the insanity of everyday life.
