At Pythagoras' Daughter - A Mystery School, I design, develop and deliver classes, workshops and retreats that advance individual transformation using a unique blend of Appreciative Inquiry, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Narrative Practice, Earth-Centered Spirituality and Frontier Science Processes. These techniques help me and others to develop a life-giving relationship with the world. Some call my work a “make-over from the inside, out”. See my website at http://www.pythagorasdaughter.com Central to my work is the search for the best in each of us -- our lives and our worlds. At Pythagoras' Daughter we systematically search for and discover what energizes us when we feel most alive, most effective, and most constructively capable. We ask questions that strengthen our capacity to comprehend, anticipate, and heighten positive potential. Appreciative Inquiry "deliberately seeks to discover people's exceptionally – their unique gifts, strengths, and qualities. It actively searches and recognizes people for their specialties – their essential contributions and achievements... Its goal is to discover in all human beings the exceptional and the essential." Cooperrider, D.L. et. al. (Eds), Lessons from the Field: Applying Appreciative Inquiry. Frontier Science includes consciousness studies. Respected programs emphasize the integration of scientific approaches with contemplative methods adhering to equally high standards, radically expanding the study of the mind to explore its potentials more fully. The focus is often on the cultivation of human flourishing and genuine happiness through exceptional mental health and balance. I bring to Pythagoras' Daughter a global world view, a Masters Degree from Smith College and a decade of Training and Development at The World Bank Group. I am a certified Appreciative Inquiry Practitioner, a student of human capacities with Jean Houston and a member of the Institute of Noetic Sciences. My Mystery School meets several times a month in Washington, DC Pythagoras' Daughter uses tree-free paper and certified organic products The school http://www.pythagorasdaughter.com Our green resources http://www.pythagorasdaughter.com/greengoddess.html
