I am originally from East Africa (Somalia) and currently living here in the Bay Area (California, USA). My work experience and schooling cuts across Africa, Asia, and North America and this broadened my outlook in life. And I think it made me more open-minded and comfortable with multicultural settings. Currently, I am more focused on means and ways of giving back to Somalia. especially sharing my skills and knowledge. Somalia is a country affected by prolonged brutal civil conflict and I am committed to its reconstruction. Therefore, I am interested in meeting friends who are willing to share their expertise, skills, and knowledge with the people of Somalia. Somalia and its people were neglected by the international community including the development agencies and foundations.
