I'm a volunteer with an advocacy group, RESULTS, that works on ending extreme poverty (http://www.results.org). We find solutions to the problems of poverty and then lobby for the resources that will bring those solutions -- microcredit, immunizations, basic education -- to scale. I'm also a journalist working for a daily newspaper in an industry that is undergoing drastic changes, some not for the better. I'm part of team that is looking for ways to preserve our print product, at least until the online model reaches sufficient profitability to maintain our current level of service and quality.
