I am an ordained Interfaith Minister and Licensed Wedding Officiant based in Brooklyn, New York. http://joannafernandesceremonies.com/ It is my privilege and joy to create ceremonies that are as varied and unique as the people I work with. I perform spiritual, civil, humanist, nondenominational, same-faith, and Interfaith ceremonies with equal enthusiasm. In addition to the work that I do in the world under the official title of ”Reverend Joanna,” I am an active community volunteer. I am proud to do work for both Green Edge NYC http://www.greenedgenyc.org/, as its City-Wide Supper Club Coordinator, as well as Mt. Sinai Hospital’s SAVI Program http://www.mssm.edu/savi/, as an in-hospital advocate for the survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. I firmly believe that human rights, environmental protection and greater social and economic equality are interrelated and want for a better world for all beings.
