Dear Primrose,
Yes! Learning through experience is the best way to learn. Of course we have to take the time to reflect and be open to the wisdom within to understand the meaning of our experience.
In the capitalistic societies around the world the pace of life gets too busy and rushed so that people don't take the time to reflect or open their hearts to their inner truth. Too many people out there just trying to survive.
We are very fortunate to be in a place where the pace of life is humane. Where we can stop and nurture ourselves, our relationship with the Divine, and our relationships with each other. We are also fortunate to not have to worry where our next meal will come from. I often wonder at the fact that I was born at this time in a place so safe, clean and abundant as Pennsylvania in the USA.
I want to post a quote here for you and others who love to read. It is a Chinese Proverb I found at www.quotationspage.com/quotes/Chinese_Proverb/31 :
"A book holds a house of gold."
and I can't help but post this one too:
"Teachers open the door. You enter by yourself."
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and insights with the world.
In love and Peace, Mindyjane
