I write a Left-leaning political blog called The Goddess. I write about many things including politics, religion and pop culture from a Pagan perspective. I'm a 3rd degree High Priestess of Dianic Wicce, and I spend a great deal of time answering questions about the return of the Great Mother Goddess, about my Monotheastic faith (yes, that's the correct spelling) and the concept of Matriarchy. Don't let that last one scare you off - it's not what most people think it is. I'm disabled, have a book in the works and I live on a mountain in a very remote region of Appalachia. I lived on the East Coast of the US for about 15 years, and most of my friends are still there, so I'm a little homesick, even though my family has lived on this mountain for over 100 years, and in this area since way before Columbus.
