Michelle Bourke MD

Michelle Bourke is an internal medicine physician and medical writer. Dr. Bourke’s medical background includes training at UC San Francisco Medical School, followed by residency in internal medicine at UC San Francisco Medical Center. In addition to five years in clinical practice as a board certified internist, she has five years combined experience in medical writing and editing.

Dr Bourke has extensive experience providing education on women’s health, infectious diseases, and health policy topics. She has presented numerous lectures to the UC San Francisco and UC Santa Cruz medical communities. Most recently, as Vice President of Medical Affairs for Hygeia, Michelle is providing young women with guidance, support and answers received through the Ask The Expert section of www.petiteamie.com on an array of subject matters dealing with adolescence and puberty.
