Hi, I am grateful for ODE! I am now a teacher, after decades of trying different careers. Therefore I come to this job quite late, and after many corporate experiences. My tag line at work is now relax, " It's a Government Job!" I have been a flight attendant, real estate agent, hair dresser, and a boat interior designer. I have had two businesses of my own. I have art work published in magazines and one book. Of course most important is my son. He is twenty and still needs adult guidance and help. I went back to college and graduated with a B.A. Degree in Education at age 50. I am single and independent. I am discouraged and pessimistic.

But reading these pages and learning about these people gives me great hope. I but wish I was one of them! I try (covertly) to instill a global and humane ethic into the children I am honored to teach, but it seems so little. Well please keep up this wonderful window view of a different world!
