A professional calligraphic artist and business owner (http://www.BeautifulCalligraphy.com), I have launched Sustainable Bags (http://www.SustainableBags.Net) where I combine calligraphy messages about the environment on organic fairtrade reusable shopping bags. A former educator, I wrote a booklet about plastic for children and combined it in an Educational Toy called:" The Kids Kit To Save The Planet From Plastic Bags". Parents read it and comment: "I didn't realize that" - and the kids then remind their adults to bring "their bags" to market. I also do organic custom printed bags for Eco or Green Weddings. I learned that reusing cloth bags wasn't having a huge impact because people were going out and buying plastic bags to throw out their trash, so now I also sell biodegradable Bio-plastic bags made from corn! As you can see, I am very concerned about the environment. My other passions are the political situation in the U.S., and election integrity. I was a former candidate for City Council in Tucson, AZ. For enjoyment I read a lot, practice yoga and play a tough game of tennis!
