'If you want to take life serious, learn to laugh' is one of my motto's. Seriousness is a problem which freezes up possibilities and relationships, let alone your perspective on things. My role seems to be, to unfreeze people, organisations and help them to find their own new possibilities. I believe that we all have more talents than we know. I have many roles and even jobtitles. I am at play with the world around me. You could call me a social inventor. People, and I do to, consider me highly creative, artistic, intuitive, deviant, social, humorous and a (wise) fool. Through this I write, I train people of all sorts (mostly business though), I come up with concepts or help others refine them. Concretely I host workhops like 'the Way of the Fool' on authentic leadership or 'The heroes journey' on daring to follow your bliss or Open Space and World Cafés. My art is about interaction and putting things upsiode down, like have children helping adults with their life's questions or help focus people's attention to new options at any locations. As an activist I helped political leaders and high ranking civil servants to team up with special civilian's so they could learn to speak each others language and understand each others troubles better. Events and festivals I contribute in concept or activity to turn out to be more happy, playful and interactive. I also try to find new ways to teach based on values and young peoples passions rather than from books, or 'stuff you need to know'. Although I mostly work in the Netherlands and the English part of my website is hopelesly out of date, you can find my website at http://www.foolservice.nl or find more on what I work on at http://www.kaospilots.nl and a festival I contribute to at http://www.unitedpositivity.nl. Some of the more deviant playful activism you can find on http://www.wonder.nl (mostly in Dutch)
