Retired after a couple of great careers, first as a design engineer and then as a pastor. I began subscribing to Ode because the world constantly thrusts bad news at me and I found Ode to be positive. I am a serous citizen of the world and work for peace and the preservation of the planet. My hobbies include writing, teaching Linux, flying (when I can afford to rent) small aircraft (SEL). I am extremely interested in alternate fuel, solar energy and a better design of our grid system. I look forward to a better US and World because of people like the ones you find in ODE.
