I am an artist, weaving some of the time, painting at other time and designing at yet others times. When not doing these things I write.

I spoke only French until the age of 16. Parents saw to it that I was exposed to the various arts. My English education began when I arrived in the United States and my need for communication and education was not only a necessity but a matter of mastering the thought processes of those around me. I realize today that I may never achieve this objective but in the process I have become a keen observer, of people and things around me.

I began to write articles many years ago and now know my expressed voice to be pointed, passionate and based mostly on examination of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. These published and unpublished articles are based on continued observations, now making room for the writing of a book again based on my observation. This time I converse with nature about the similarity of behavior between mankind and wild waterfowl. The book’s substance will be a series of spiritual and practical lessons learned in a lifetime.

My association with the Gladys T. McGarey Medical Foundation came out of being a patient of Dr. Gladys and later a friend. Her holistic approaches to healing and her philosophy of life itself became an object of one of my observations. The work she continues to do although retired from active practice is a constant source of inspiration not only to myself but the many she touches and teaches.

Primarily I can say I write in an attempt to connect heart and passion with the human spirit.
