Ehreswhi

I'm a junior at Aquinas College studying Political Science, International Studies and Community Leadership. I have been an advocate for the environment nearly my whole life and am concerned about the plight of people in the developing world. I am greatly inspired by the works of others and have had the opportunity to meet Desmond Tutu, Jose Ramos Horta of East Timor and Rigoberta Menchu. In addition, I have seen influential individuals like the Dalai Lama and President Oscar Arias speak on peace, change and the ability young adults have to make a difference. From the encouragement and inspiration of these leaders, I am working on starting a new organization on my college campus, called Students for International Peace and Stability. Our goal will be to educate others on the issues facing mankind today, as well as working on projects that support the Millennium Development Goals. After college I would like to servce in the Peace Corps and go to Grad. school for Public Policy or something related to peace studies and conflict resolution. And...I love Ode!
