I am a 24 year old substitute teacher at a title I high school in Victoville, CA. I earned a BA from California State Universtiy Northridge (CSUN) in Chicana/o Studies and I am currently working on a secondary education teaching credential at the University of La Verne. At CSUN my emphasis was in social sciences and education. I am a history nerd. My favorite books are, "A People's History of the United States" by Howard Zinn and "Occupied America" by Rudy Acuna. These two books inspired me to become a history teacher.
