Staying connected and informed on Election Day

This Election Day, with online tools like Twitter and Google Voter Info, it is easier than ever to stay connected, stay informed, and voice your opinion.

Twitter
While TwitterElection has been going strong for months, TwitterVoteReport is designed to keep information flowing and give everyone the most up to the minute information on November 4th. By adding #VoteReport to the end of your "tweets," or updates on Twitter.com you can share your experience at the polls. Reports will be available to anyone who wants to read them via TwitterVoteReport.com or specific mobile programs and widgets.

Google Voter Info
This Google Maps Application shows you your polling place after you simply type in your home address. This is a smiple and easy took to use if you're questioning where you should go to vote on November 4th, or if you need directions.

CNN
CNN has a few helpful sites set up that will be active on November 4th to help you get up to the minute information about the races you really care about. with CNN YourRaces you can customize tracking of any number of races and watch the results in real time. At CNN Voter Hotline lets you see a state-by-state breakdown of polling problems as they occur. You can see how many calls are coming in from each state and what kind of problems are occurring

YouTube's VideoYourVote
On YouTube users can upload videoblogs to a communal channel and watch documented early voting, hear about polling place problems and voting stories from other users. YouTube says, "We encourage participants to think creatively - videos don't necessarily have to be taken at the polling place, they just need to be related to the topic of voting."
