Calculate your solar potential with RoofRay

A small start up solar array modeling service in California called RoofRay (www.roofray.com) is helping to shed some light on your solar potential. With the help of Google Maps aerial imaging, they have created an application that calculates your estimated monthly solar output in Watts per sqaure foot.

The estimate is based off of your coordinates and regional characteristics such as the average weather cycle, cloud cover, surface albedo, and the orientation and area of your solar array. Once calculated you can then enter your utility service to compare how much money you would save.
