Social innovation and navigating chaos

Greetings to Ode readers worldwide! I am one of 34 students studying at the KaosPilots International Education in Aarhus, Denmark. As part of our fourth semester (last spring), my team and I lived and worked in Shanghai, China. Our mission was to explore the term "Social Innovation".

We heard from the experts, we investigated on a street level, we discussed, shared and eventually...we wrote!

The result of our exploration was a book: A Travel Guide to Social Innovation which will be launched and ready for sale on the 12th of Semptember, 2008.

The original version of the travel guide can be seen and downloaded in PDF format on our website: www.socialinnovation.biz . The book is published under Creative Commons licensing and is meant to be passed around. So download, read, share and spread it!

On our website you can also participate in the ongoing dialogue about Social Innovation by making additions, subtractions, comments etc. to a "live" Wikipedia-like version of the travel guide. Let's define Social Innovation...together!
