The European Parliament should be located in Brussels

Just recently I got an e-mail from a friend asking me to participate in the European Parliament petition. Here is the story:

'It costs European taxpayers approximately 200 million euros a year to move the Parliament once a month from Brussels/Belgium and Strasbourg/France and vica versa.

Article 47 on participatory democracy in the proposed constitution for the European Union, which the European Commission supports, wants the citizens in the European Union to become more active and to participate in the debate on European issues. Therefore, we are starting a citizens' initiative to collect a million signatures to put an end to this waste of taxpayers' money'.
