Is buying your credo? Then you can change the world!

We think women can change the world through shopping!

We buy things daily like food, household products and clothes, but we also love to surround ourselves with beauty products, things for our interior, presents for our children or even for our pets.

Image all the things you buy are made in an honest and sustainable way. Do you think it's possible? Our Dutch organization, StoereVrouwen (in English: Tough Women), knows this can be done!

That's why we have taken action. We believe we can change the world by shopping in an honest way. There are many, many sustainable initiatives and products which can make this possible.

We organize evenings where we swap clothes, go out for an organic dinner or picket in the streets asking shops if they sell any sustainable (and animal friendly) products. And we write about pure people and friendly initiatives.

So, if buying is your credo, let us show you an honest way of spending your money. And show us how YOU can do it by starting your own group of StoereVrouwen in your city or town, or even send us your ideas or initiative.

Good idea, shopping for the wellbeing of all people, the environment and nature. We have started up a similar initiative for the city Maastricht, the Netherlands.

It's www.bewust-leven.org where the inhabitants of Maastricht can easily search and find all (participating) shops, companies and organisations in Maastricht with a conscious attitude towards people, the environment and nature. The main criteria for participating companies a.o. are sustainability, non-violance and holism.

We are still growing so any good ideas and suggestions are welcome !
