Energy drink alternatives

Dear EarthTalk: There are so many energy drinks on the market, but they all seem very high in sugar, coloring and preservatives. Are there any natural versions that offer a healthier kick-start? -- John Hwang, Cambridge, MA

Energy drinks constitute one of the fastest growing sectors of the soft drink market across the U.S. and around the world, with some 500 new varieties introduced in recent years. But it

I like the nap idea the best :) Too bad my busy schedule won't allow for it though. Instead, I would agree with the Yerba Mata. It is an acquired taste, but seems to keep you alert without the jitters that I usually get from caffeine from coffee.

AgelessXtra/Xperia -- two cell renewal formulas -- are by far the best I have come across; these drinks are extremely high in antioxidants, use ancient medicinal herbs and combine these with cutting-edge science. They are some of the only natural alternative nutritional supplements on the market that have undergone third-party double-blind placebo-controlled studies.

They address the four major symptoms of aging -- stress management, energy levels, joint mobility and comfort, and mental clarity and focus. My husband and I have been taking them since last spring and continue to be very impressed with and grateful.

As I really resonated with the vision and integrity of the company, and have had the pleasure of seeing many friends and acquaintances experience all kinds of benefits from taking the products (one very common one being not feeling the need for coffee or naps anymore), I also became involved as an independent associate/distributor.

Rooibos is my favorite. Rooibos may help soothe upset stomachs and is often used to relieve tension. With no caffeine and low tannin levels. Already rich in health benefits, Rooibos also includes a high antioxidant value. When applied directly to the body, it can ease itching or irritated skin, even eczema and acne. check out wisdomofancients teas. They also carry Yerba Mate with Stevia (which is a sweet plant from Paraguay)
