Utah's first Dark Sky Park

It's an almost forgotten experience for many of us: gazing at a velvety dark sky, filled to bursting with thousands and thousands of bright stars. This glimpse of the heavens is above Owachomo Bridge in Utah's Natural Bridges National Monument – named the first Dark Sky Park by the International Dark-Sky Association, which seeks to "preserve and protect the nighttime environment and our heritage of dark skies."
