Great article at an interesting time for me. Within the last two weeks, my wife shares with me that she and her sister may be able to receive roughly 200 hectres in Pullcallpa. A friend of ours has a contiguous 500 hectres there as well, and has begun investing some resources. We are interested in organic farming and employing local individuals, but I am cautious about the idea of investing so far away.

I am in the information gathering phase, and trying to decide whether to accept the property. If we accept it, we would want to invest in it; but if the costs and risks look bad, then we may decline the conveyance altogether. The only option for use is some sort of organic and sustainable farming project, which is what we hope can be done without losing money.

Your article has helped my spirit with this, although I remain cautious. If you (or anyone reading this) have (or has) any helpful information regarding agricultural projects in this region, or links to articles regarding the legal steps to take, please forward those to createpeace@gmail.com.

The land could be aquired without any debt, but then we want to invest less than $5,000 per year as we have limited income.

Sincerely,

David
