The Readers Blog is a group blog, a collection of provocative, passionate people who represent a broad geographical, professional, personal and vocational range. New bloggers from other places and other points of view will join the conversation from time to time. Here, we invite them all to share their perspectives and opinions on the issues that matter to them most. And we invite you to respond. Let the dialogue begin!

My book, my job...my little world ....

My book, my job, my web site, my friend, my enemy, my worry, my reputation, my shame, my love, my loneliness, my little world ....

I work, I think, I think and I think, I wait impatiently, I breathe hatefully, I analyze but I can’t see, I feel, I don’t accept, I …

“I” have got enough of “I”. “I” don’t know if there’s something as “I”, but “I” still keep going at it. Can’t even make a phrase without putting “me” in it. It’s ridiculous. When does this stop? Where do “I” stop?

Life shows “me” that “Eyes” and “Me’s” don’t really matter. What so called individuals want isn’t what happens, what needs to happen and what makes us happy. Happiness seems to fall on to people, in unexpected moments, in unexpected ways and certainly not when worked on by “I’s”.

“I” has gotten so frustrated today with his self interest, his superiority, his pride, his judgment of himself and others, his self pity and his inability to make any sense that “I” feels totally useless, totally ridiculous and wanting to not exist. What comes after that?

“I” doesn’t know who he is, nor what he should do, he can never find peace with anything. “I” know that “I” isn’t more important than the sand on the beach, the rice I eat, the mud under “my” shoe.

“I” ask myself “who is writing this blog post?” The answer may well be, you, the “reader”, who is another so called “I”. “I” hope “I” can soon join “you” in oneness and feel completely part of the source of life.

Hey Luca, what you write here is wonderful! This is where we are going and the fact that I can connect with you from a place quite far away from where you are shows how close we are to the breakthrough to Oneness...
