Jennifer Yee

A humble philanthropic producer in Los Angeles, Jennifer turned down lucrative and high profile studio jobs in Hollywood to focus on smaller stories of unsung heroes creating positive change. She designed and founded a motion picture production company, Back Light Productions LLC, committed to producing stories that enrich, inspire, and dignify the goodness of the human experience.

She has traveled through four continents around the globe and worked with over 30 non-profits, providing them with incomparable media resources that would otherwise not be available. Her current film is a documentary feature film chronicling the journey of an international team of mountain climbers who are climbing 10 mountains over 10 years to raise awareness for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease. It is dedicated to the 92 million people worldwide who have a family member battling Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. This past summer she summited Mt. Kilimanjaro documenting their expedition and will be filming the team on Mt. Everest.

She has devoted her life to shining light on so many other people, we would like to shine light on her.
